3.3.2015 Antto Vihma's MIT Working Paper
Senior Research Fellow at the Institute Antto Vihma wrote a working paper together with Johannes Urpilainen. The working paper is called "Soft cooperation in the shadow of distributional conflict? A model-based assessment of the two-level game between international climate change negotiations and domestic politics" and it was published in the MIT Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research (CEEPR) Working Papers -series. At the moment it's available to the MIT CEEPR Associates, and it will be available to everybody in May.

Senior Research Fellow at the Institute Antto Vihma commented in an article published by The Moscow Times on December 7th on the Finnish parliament's decision to approve the plans for the Fennovoima nuclear power plant. According to Vihma, the project carries a foreign policy risk and under current circumstances it should have been put on ice. Instead of accommodating Russia's new aggressive foreign policy line, Finland is taking yet another step to deepen relations with Russia, Vihma said.
