Senior Research Fellow at the Institute Sinikukka Saari commented on the Lithuanian president Dalia Grybauskaite’s allegations about Russia’s behind-the-scenes action in Ilta-Sanomat on June 23rd. According to Saari, Grybauskaite’s language is colourful, but it is clear that Russia thinks that the former Soviet Union area still belongs to its sphere of interest.
