Director of the Institute Teija Tiilikainen commented on the decisions of the Council of Europe in Turun Sanomat on June 27th. According to her, the Council created leverage to the procedure according to which the selection of the EU Commission president would also in the future be based on the top candidates of the European parliament groups.
