Institute Director Teija Tiilikainen comments on the EU report submitted by the Government to the Finnish Parliament (MTV3 news13.6.). Dr Tiilikainen believes that a strong role is needed for the EU, and Finland is now able to join this cooperation at full steam. Referring to the government report, she stated that it is in Finland’s interests that the Union functions well in terms of security and defence policy.
