Melting Arctic is now an Asian security issue

Seminar organised by the Finnish Institute of International Affairs, “Arctic challenge in global politics” (24 February), featuring Professor Stephen Blank from the U.S. Army War College as a speaker, was reported on the gbtimes website on 1 May. In addition to the big questions, Institute Researcher Jyrki Kallio had focused on the indigenous peoples living in the area and the diminishing hauls of the fisheries in China.
