Senior Research Fellow at the Institute András Rácz commented on the situation in Ukraine in Iltalehti on August 28th. According to him, Russia’s troops have gotten openly involved in the conflict because Vladimir Putin wants Ukraine to remain a weak state that cannot follow the Western path.
