Senior Research Fellow at the Institute Kristi Raik commented on the EU sanctions process in Iltalehti on September 9th. According to her, the additional sanctions are unlikely to break the ceasefire in Ukraine because by breaking the ceasefire Russia would admit being a party in the conflict.
