Senior Research Fellow at the Institute Sinikukka Saari commented on the Russians’ attitudes towards the EU on MTV on September 22nd. According to her, the Russian people has not bought the EU’s reassurances that the rapprochement between the EU and the former Soviet states is not directed against Russia, and the EU has turned more into an enemy in the eyes of the Russians.
