Senior Research Fellow at the Institute Kristi Raik commented on the situation in Ukraine in an interview with Suomen Kuvalehti on March 14th. According to Raik, the referendum in Crimea is part of the Russian president Putin’s propaganda war, where taking over the area is justified in old Soviet fashion with the people’s will.
