Director of the Institute Teija Tiilikainen commented in an interview with Ilta-Sanomat on February 28th on the 20-year-old agreement where the US and Britain gave Ukraine security guarantees when the country gave up its nuclear weapons. According to Tiilikainen, any wishes of salvation by the agreement are shaky, because the agreement’s contents make it a normal safety guarantee agreement in line with the UN system.
