Call for Papers - Yhdysvaltojen tutkimuksen päivä
The Center for US Politics and Power at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs will organize a U.S. research day in Helsinki on Tuesday December 12, 2013. The purpose of the conference is to provide an overview of research on US politics in Finland.
Proposals on both empirical and theoretical papers addressing, for example, the U.S. foreign and domestic policy, U.S. global role and its relationship to the rising powers, transatlantic relations, U.S. relations to Finland and other Nordic countries, and the special characteristics of U.S. history, economy and politics are welcomed.
The deadline to submit abstracts (max. 300 words) is Sunday 27th October, 2013. In addition to the abstract please include the title of the paper as well as the affiliation and email address of the author. Please send the abstracts or working group proposals in Finnish or in English by email to Anna Kronlund,anna.kronlund@fiia.fi
Working group proposals are also welcomed.
