Senior Research Fellow at the Institute Antto Vihma commented on Russia’s gas exports to Ukraine on Yle news on February 4th. According to Vihma, Russia can put pressure on certain countries in the short term by threatening to stop gas deliveries, but in the long term it would be ill-advised.
