Expert on airstrikes: Russia messages to the West that it does what it wants in the area

Russia launched airstrikes in Syria on Wednesday. Programme director Mika Aaltola argued to Yle News 30.9. that Russia wants to spotlight Syria instead of Ukraine, and also Russia is trying to make sure that it’s interests are noticed.
