New book entitled Geo-economics and Power Politics in the 21st Century: The Revival of Economic Statecraft edited by FIIA’s Senior Research Fellow Mikael Wigell, Sören Scholvin and FIIA’s Programme Director Mika Aaltola has been published (Routledge). The book includes for example chapter entitled Critical Infrastructure in Geostrategic Competition: Comparing the US and Chinese Silk Road Projects written by Senior Research Fellow Juha Käpylä and Programme Director Mika Aaltola, and chapter entitled China’s Economic Statecraft in Latin America: Geostrategic Implications for the United States written by Senior Research Fellow Mikael Wigell and Ana Soliz Landivar.
