Senior Research Fellow at the Institute Charly Salonius-Pasternak commented on defence policy on Yle on September 13th. According to him, Russia has clearly showed that military actions are part of its political toolbox, whereas Europe has for a long time thought that military force can only be used in crisis management operations.
