The EU is looking for sanctions against Russia – the energy screw is hard to twist

Programme Director at the Institute Mika Aaltola commented on the sanctions against Russia in Taloussanomat on July 22nd. According to him, the Russian companies that are targeted by the sanctions are so big that making their operations harder results in market failures. For example, the rising price of oil would actually benefit Russia.
